When you receive your willow sculpture it will already have been preserved in Linseed Oil.

To maintain the look and condition of this natural material, a seasonal application of Linseed Oil, which can be purchased from a hardware store (raw or boiled), should be applied liberally with a paintbrush.Over time some deterioration may occur, especially if left outdoors. If you prefer, put your sculpture under cover during the winter months, it will help to prolong its condition.

If you are siting your sculpture indoors, still apply the oil to protect it against dry air conditions and to maintain the sheen. You may find that after a few years your sculpture requires some maintenance work. Please contact me at that time, and we can discuss your requirements and any additional costs.
